Combined processing of YBa2Cu3O(7-delta) superconducting wire by mechanical work and melt growth technique

The combination of mechanical work by powder-in-tube processing and melt growth of YBa2Cu3O(7-delta) is examined. It is shown that a proper combination of melt growth and mechanical working appears promising for making high critical current density wire with good strength. (R.E.P.)
