Analytical transmission electron microscopy of La2O3-doped Y2O3
Y2O3 exhibits great potential as an optical material due to its isotropic (cubic) structure, chemical stability, and excellent light transmittance capabilities which extend further into the infra-red than most other oxides. La2O3 serves as sintering aid. 23 refs.
