Postbuckling analysis of viscoelastic laminated plates using higher-order theory

Description
Summary:The postbuckling behavior of viscoelastic composite laminated plates is considered. The viscoelastic behavior of the single ply is characterized by a micro-mechanical theory, in conjunction with the properties of the fibers and viscoelastic resin matrix. Higher-order shear-deformation theory is employed to study the post-buckling phenomenon. The resulting viscoelastic effects are shown, and comparison with lower order theories is presented.
