Description
Summary:Raman scattering from superconducting gap excitations in the compounds is compared. In the normal state, both materials exhibit strong electronic interband scattering. At low temp., a redistribution of electronic scattering occurs, indicative of the formation of a superconducting gap. The two symmetries exhibit distinct redistribution, however, denoting strong anisotropy. At A#2T#Ic#1#J, both compounds exhibit residual low-energy scattering, suggesting the coexistence of normal electrons and superconducting quasi-particles.
