A simulation of the angle resolved Auger yield from Al(001)

Summary: | A semi-quantum-mechanical Monte Carlo simulation has been developed to model the complete angular distribution of KLL Auger electrons emitted from an Al(001) surface. Forward focusing of the Auger electrons is found in angle resolved Auger electron spectroscopy (ARABS) images for Auger emitters in each of the outer four atomic layers. This contrasts with what others have found at lower Auger energies. |
