Summary: | An illustrated description is given of a flow injection system for the simultaneous determination of total iron and hexavalent chromium in waste waters, based on the so-called sandwich technique in which the sample was injected between 2 different carrier solutions. Both metals were determined spectrophotometrically at 526 nm with a single detector over the range 0.2-10 ppm. The standard deviations were 0.09 ppm for total iron and 0.08 ppm for hexavalent chromium. |
