Description
Summary:We present a theory of the freezing temperature T g of metallic spin glasses. Intrinsic sd exchange scattering and finite temperature play essential roles. We describe a new approach to the dependence of T g on the strength and range of spin-spin pair interactions. The theory leads to an appealing physical interpretation of the dependence of T g on the concentration and type of added impurities, and provides the first correct account of a wide range of experimental data.
