Summary: | The paper deals with the determination of the fundamental frequency coefficient of the structural elements described in the title in the case where the edges are elastically restrained against rotation. An approximate solution is obtained by means of the Ritz method and Rayleigh's optimization procedure. The fundamental eigenvalues are also determined by using a finite element code, and good agreement is shown to exist with the analytical results. |
