We recruited a total of 69,163 participants aged ≥40 years and had medical examination records of HDL-C during 2010–2014 from the Yinzhou District, Ningbo, China. Hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were estimated using Cox proportional hazards regression models.
