The perils of generalization: Rethinking breast cancer screening guidelines for young women of color

Women of Color are more likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer under the age of 40 years and are more likely to die (vs non‐Hispanic Whites). These findings support the concern that the US Preventive Services Task Force breast cancer guidelines adversely affect Women of Color.
