Summary: | Previously abstracted from original as item 9312-31-4738. The effect of temperature on the mechanical properties of cast KhN60KVMYuB alloy during stretching at a rate of 5000 mm/min, which is close to extrusion rates, was investigated experimentally. It is found that the temperature range of high plasticity coincides with the range of intense dynamic recrystallization contributing to the formation of a fine-grained structure. Dynamic collective crystallization leads to the formation of a coarse-grained structure with low-mobility boundaries characterized by a low resistance to the formation of boundary cracks and their growth under loading. |
