Summary: | For interpretation of iron losses in crystalline soft magnetic materials various models of domain wall motion have been applied in the past. This paper presents experimental studies of Bloch wall mobility in grain-oriented 3% SiFe and amorphous material. Measurements were performed by means of a video-camera equipped conventional Kerr-effect system and a newly developed laser scanning Kerr-effect sensor, respectively. Effects of wall pinning and symmetry of wall motion are discussed. |
