Summary: | In situ measurements of the thermopower of quench condensed amorphous AuSn and AgIn films in the temperature range from 1.5 K up to just below the crystalization temperature are reported and compared with results obtained recently on amorphous AgSn films. All films with low noble-metal content show a typical knee structure between 20 and 30 K. The data are compared and fitted to the theory of Kaiser [1, 2] and Kaiser and Stedman [3] which takes into account many-body effects. |
