Summary: | Heat-resistant nickel alloys of heterogeneous systems like the Ni-Co-Cr-W-Mo-Al-Nb system are the main materials used to produce precision cast gas turbine blades. A review of the current trends in the development of Russian heat-resistant alloys of the above kind is presented. Evolution of both alloying and production techniques for these materials are discussed. Dispersion of the strengthening phase in matrix is shown to have a significant effect on mechanical properties of the alloys. Levels of long-term strength in single-crystalline alloys (ZhS30M, ZhS36, ZhS40) and the temperature level of alloys (ZhS6F, ZhS26, ZhS26U, MAPM-200, CM-247) with a directional structure, are discussed. |
