Coherence peak and superconducting energy gap in Rb3C60 observed by Muon spin relaxation

Spin-exchange scattering of endohedral muonium with thermal electronic excitations has been found to result in muon spin relaxation in the fullerene superconductor Rb3C60. The temperature dependence of this T(1) exp -1 muon spin relaxation exhibits a coherence peak just below T(c), and may be charac...

Description
Summary:Spin-exchange scattering of endohedral muonium with thermal electronic excitations has been found to result in muon spin relaxation in the fullerene superconductor Rb3C60. The temperature dependence of this T(1) exp -1 muon spin relaxation exhibits a coherence peak just below T(c), and may be characterized in the framework of the Hebel-Slichter (1959) theory for spin-relaxation in a superconductor.
