Effect of processing variables on the mechanical and electrical properties of barium titanate positive temperature coefficient of resistance ceramics: II, Sintering atmosphere

Under sintering atm with pO sub 2 > 0.2 bar, PTCR effect was unchanged up to 100% O sub 2 atm. Mechanical strength and K sub / Ic / were slightly changed. However, at lower pO sub 2 , PTCR effects were reduced, as were the corresponding strength and K sub / Ic /.
