Temperature profiling of glass by FTIR emission spectroscopy

FTIR is used to measure the wavelength and temp.-dependent radiative properties of two glass formulations. This information is then used with FTIR measurements of radiance from hot glass to determine temp. gradient profiles through each glass thickness.
