Fractographic and Auger-electronic investigation of the fracturing mechanism of the R6M5 steel
See adjacent abstract. The fracture mechanism of R6M5 steel with various strength is studied in relation to the temperature of heating for quenching (1180- 1260 deg C). The metal with normal strength is characterized by the intragranular mechanism of fracture throughout the quenching temperature int...

Summary: | See adjacent abstract. The fracture mechanism of R6M5 steel with various strength is studied in relation to the temperature of heating for quenching (1180- 1260 deg C). The metal with normal strength is characterized by the intragranular mechanism of fracture throughout the quenching temperature interval studied, while the one with decreased strength, beginning with a certain temperature, is featured by the transgranular mechanism of fracture. |
