Summary: | See adjacent abstract. Characteristics of fatigue resistance are studied as affected by the forging formed by thermomechanical treatment (TMT) which possesses a structure and crystallographic texture of the alloy VT3-1 as well as by technological factors of subsequent production of the fan blade. It is established that a decrease of the durability limit and a considerable spread of the test results are caused by inhomogeneity of structure and texture in different forgings as well as within one forging specified by variations of such TMT parameters as temperature and deformation degree. Such inhomogeneity plays a defining part in a decrease of durability limit as a result of hydrogenation in the process of chemical etching. It is shown that such effect may be increased at the account of TMT of billets with strict observation of the present temperature of deformation. |
