Inelastic light scattering by spin polarized electron gas

It is shown that the Raman spectrum of a spin polarized electron system of free carriers contains a contribution of collective excitations even for scattering due to spin density fluctuations. In a magnetic field the intensity of the depolarized line is an oscillatory function of the field.
