Summary:The character of the interaction between antimony and rare earths has been studied inadequately. The best way to determine the completeness of solubility in a liquid state, the presence or absence of solid solutions and the formation of compounds is to plot a phase diagram. This review presents phase diagrams for rare earth-antimony systems as well as some properties of the individual compounds formed in these systems.
