Summary:Postoperative bleeding after surgery for acute aortic dissection is one of the most common complications and has an important influence on mortality and morbidity. Therefore, various methods have been introduced to prevent or manage postoperative bleeding. In this article, we investigated the causes of bleeding after surgery for acute aortic dissection, and introduce appropriate transfusion or pharmacologic treatment, topical hemostatic agents, and local compressive maneuver to manage it.
