Summary: | The irreversible structure relaxation of the amorphous near-zero magnetostrictive Co sub 71.5 Fe sub 2.5 Mn sub 2 Mo sub 1 Si sub 9 B sub 14 alloy was studied by means of the isothermal magnetic after-effect of the initial permeability (disaccommodation) and isothermal dilatometric measurements. Studies were performed at T = 379-520K in the time interval between t sub 1 = 1 s and t sub 2 = 2-25000 s. Assuming first-order kinetics of the relaxation process, the changes of the normalized variations of the MAE and the isothermal shrinkage are described. The distributions of activation energies P(Q) were evaluated by the Hesse)Rubartsch method. Three-mode spectra of the activation energies were obtained, which point to the existence of three different relaxation processes. |
