Summary: | In this paper, the incidence-radiation composite boundary is presented for simulating the radiation condition on load incidence boundary. The theoretical foundations of the composite boundary are region-wise virtual work equations of wave motion in the finite and infinite domain. By studying the virtual work equations of changed domain and original domain, the correct boundary condition of wave motion problems concerning infinite domain is obtained. This revises the mistake caused by the current generally used method. Numerical results also show that the presented incidence-radiation composite boundary is very effective. |
