Summary: | We report here on the search for pulsed TeV gamma rays in the archival data of 1984-1985 on Geminga obtained by us with the Atmospheric Cerenkov Technique at Ootacamund, India. The data taken at two sites amounting to a total of about 30 hours were analyzed to look for the recently discovered period of 237 msec. Two peaks were seen in the overall phasogram with a separation of 0.5 in phase, with the absolute phases of the peaks coinciding with those of the peaks in COS - B data. The Poisson probability for the peaks arising out of fluctuations is 0.1 percent. One night of simultaneous runs at the two sites has revealed a few minutes of simultaneous short time activity. |
