Summary: | A method of extending substantially the information obtained from e.p.r. spectra for bituminous coal is suggested. During reduction with subsequent alkylation or oxidation, the level of polydispersity of paramagnetic structures in coal organic matter was found to increase. Evidence for mutual influence of coal paramagnetic centres responsible for narrow and broad signals in the e.p.r. absorption spectra was also obtained. |
