Summary:The aim of this paper is the description of a system for the definition, the acquisition and the storage of multimedia information (geographic data, thematic maps, etc.) regarding both the real situation of the health care resources allocation, and the epidemiological situation, in order to decrease the incidence of a given disease with a fixed budget, applying a suitable strategy. The first part of the project will be discussed and the implemented prototype will be illustrated.
