Description
Summary:The holographic experiments in the present work demonstrate for the first time the possibility of using films of Se sub(70)Ag sub(15)I sub(15) as a medium for polarization holographic recording. By investigating the intensity and temperature dependence of the diffraction efficiency, the conditions for producing polarization beam splitters, which have no analogues in classical optics, are optimized. On the basis of the results obtained, the possible mechanism of the photoinduced anisotropy is discussed.
