Despite less numerous prospective studies about peripheral metastasis, interventional radiology has a role in this setting. Scrupulous attention for selection criteria, ablation technique, procedural steps, and clinical and imaging follow-up are required to provide optimal multidisciplinary care for oncologic patients.
