Description
Summary:Item also abstracted from original Russian and located in this section. It has been studied how the process of an oxide layer formation on lateral surfaces of copper threads influences their creep at temperatures from 1073-1223K and external pressures from 0.05-2.5 MPa. An effect of the negative creep is found under these conditions. It depends on generation of redundant vacancies in the process of oxidation. Energy expended to support nonequilibrium in the vacancy subsystem of the crystal has been determined.
