Description
Summary:MATERIALS for the history of Joan of Arc abound; countless books have been written about her; but the reports of her trial at Rouen, and those of the Rehabilitation Trials are the most authentic records that remain to us, and Mr. Douglas Murray has done a noble work for the memory of the Maid by publishing an English edition of these reports. It is upon his work that I propose mainly to base this short study.
