Cathodic reduction of 2-bromo-2-nitropropane in the presence of dipolarophiles
Cathodic reduction of 2-bromo-nitropropane in aprotic medium in the presence of dimethyl acetylene dicarboxylate led to 5,5-dimethyl-2,3,4-trimethoxycarbonyl-5-hydropyrrole and dimethyl 2-(1-nitroisopropyl)-2-butenedioate. In the presence of methyl propiolate a mixture of 2-nitropropane, 2,3-dimethy...

Summary: | Cathodic reduction of 2-bromo-nitropropane in aprotic medium in the presence of dimethyl acetylene dicarboxylate led to 5,5-dimethyl-2,3,4-trimethoxycarbonyl-5-hydropyrrole and dimethyl 2-(1-nitroisopropyl)-2-butenedioate. In the presence of methyl propiolate a mixture of 2-nitropropane, 2,3-dimethyl-2,3-dinitrobutane, methyl (E)-4-methyl-4-nitro-2-pentenoate and an organomercurial compound was obtained. |
