Summary: | It has been shown in a number of studies that it is efficient to use pulsed laser radiation to increase the durability of tools made of high-speed steels. High productivity of the process can also be ensured using continuous lasers, whose effect on high-speed has been studied insufficiently. The aim of this work was to examine the structure and hardness of high-speed steels, and also select the quenching conditions for quenching using the radiation of continuous CO sub 2 lasers. Materials: R18 and R6M5 high speed tool steel. |
