Effect of a stabilizing Y2O3 additive on the strength properties of zirconia ceramics sintered from plasma chemical powders
The effect of the concentration of a stabilizing Y2O3 additive in zirconia ceramic sintered from ultradisperse plasma chemical powders on their properties is described. The optimum mole fraction (3%) of Y2O3 providing the best strength properties of the ceramic is established.
