Summary: | Sato et al discuss the case of a 20-year-old woman presented with dyspnea and wheezing. The patient had previously undergone hematopoietic stem cell transplant for acute lymphoblastic leukemia on two separate occasions, 4 years and 1 year ago. She received immunosuppressive treatment, including a short course of methotrexate, the last dose was approximately 11 months prior. She also had chronic nonpulmonary graft-versus-host disease with generalized epidermal pigmentation and nail deformities but no respiratory infections due to immunosuppression other than the cured nontuberculous mycobacteriosis. |
