Vibrations of carbon monoxide–ethylene alternating copolymer in crystals: theoretical study

The vibrational frequencies of ethylene–carbon monoxide alternating copolymer (ECOC) in two different crystal phases of a planar zigzag structure are calculated and compared with existing experimental data. The frequencies of lattice vibrational modes are predicted.
