Summary: | We used the data obtained here to determine the content of aluminum in the steel that is optimum from the viewpoint of increasing usable output. To ensure such an Al content in steels St.3 and 20, we modified the technology used to deoxidize the steel in the ladle with lump secondary Al. Now the amount of Al used is varied (within the range 1.2-1.7 kg/ton) in relation to the carbon content of the steel when it is tapped. |
