Description
Summary:To advance the art and science of paediatrics To raise the standard of medical care provided to children To educate and examine those concerns with the health of children To advance the education of the public in child health But how does it achieve these aims? The short answer is that RCPCH uses the resources of its members, its staff, its Board of Trustees plus the voice of children (the latter through the &Us network) to develop and execute its strategy. Earlier surveys of our membership in 2016, 2018 and 2020 describe how members value Archives of Disease in Childhood and also child protection resources, examinations and assessments, clinical guidelines, the RCPCH website and the annual meeting. Evidence on 30 different indices of child health are used as the platform for RCPCH to lobby local and national governments for more resources and focus on children and young people, and the National Health Service (NHS) staff to provide care for them.
