Summary: | The dynamic field intensity factors and energy release rates in a piezoelectric ceramic block containing an edge crack with the condition of continuous electric crack faces under electromechanical impact loading are obtained. Integral transform method is used to reduce the problem to two pairs of dual integral equations, which are then expressed to an Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. Numerical values on the dynamic stress intensity factor and dynamic energy release rate are obtained to show the influence of the geometry and electric field. |
