Description
Summary:We consider a loaded arches assembly problem with a common thickness. To approximate the solution of this problem, we consider the geometry of the global structure as the limit of a sequence of regular functions, thereafter we approach each component of the sequence by its interpolant function. An augmented discrete mixed finite element method, which takes into account an approximation of the geometry, is then formulated in order to give a suitable approximation of the solution.
