Summary: | The physicomechanical, thermophysical, and tribotechnical properties of epoxy-carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic made from discrete carbon twist UK-30 were determined. It was shown that the optimum length of the discrete fibre filler ensuring high technological characteristics of carbon prepregs, isotropy of the material, and a high level of strength properties is 10-20 mm for epoxy-carbon-fibre-reinforced plastics with a random reinforcement scheme and degree of filling up to 60-70 wt. %. |
