Diffusion transport in hexagonal ferrites with magnetoplumbite structure

The diffusion coefficients of lead (plumbum), strontium and barium in hexagonal ferrite ceramics were studied by means of the radio-tracer method. It was established that, in the lead hexaferrite structure, Pb2+ possesses high mobility. This result is in good agreement with those calculated via the...

Description
Summary:The diffusion coefficients of lead (plumbum), strontium and barium in hexagonal ferrite ceramics were studied by means of the radio-tracer method. It was established that, in the lead hexaferrite structure, Pb2+ possesses high mobility. This result is in good agreement with those calculated via the Nernst–Einstein equation using experimental data on conductivity and ionic transport numbers of PHF.
