Description
Summary:Diffusion coefficients of exp 59 Fe and exp 57 Co in an intermetallic compound Ti-54 at.% Al have been determined in the temperature range between 1000-1538K by use of the serial radio-frequency sputter-micro-sectioning technique. In the whole temperature range of the present experiments, the relation D sub Ti > D sub Co > D sub Fe has been recognized. The Arrhenius plots of the diffusion coefficients of exp 59 Fe and exp 57 Co show linear relationships which are represented by the equations: D sub Fe =1.30x10 exp -2 exp(-363 kJ mol exp -1 /FT) m exp 2 s exp -1 and D sub Co =1.12x10 exp -3 exp(-318 kJ mol exp -1 /RT) m exp 2 s exp -1 .
