Growth and characterization of Pb sub(1-x)Ca sub(x)TiO sub(3) single crystals by self-flux technique
Single crystals in the Pb sub(1-x)Ca sub(x)TiO sub(3) (x identical with 0, 0.05, 0.1) system have been successfully grown using PbO flux. The variation of lattice parameter with Ca concentration has been studied using X-ray powder diffraction analysis. Examination of domain structure using polarized...

Summary: | Single crystals in the Pb sub(1-x)Ca sub(x)TiO sub(3) (x identical with 0, 0.05, 0.1) system have been successfully grown using PbO flux. The variation of lattice parameter with Ca concentration has been studied using X-ray powder diffraction analysis. Examination of domain structure using polarized-light and atomic force microscopies is reported. Curie points decrease from 496 degree C (x identical with 0) to 467 degree C (x identical with 0.05) depending on the Ca concentration. |
