Summary: | A community hospital for many years, Morristown Medical Center is now a Level 1 Trauma Center and—if you believe the editors at US News & World Report—the top hospital in New Jersey. Whether the projects funded by our “grateful patients” were relatively modest, as with our patient-education and arts programs, or monumental—we added both a comprehensive cancer center and a children’s hospital over the years—was inconsequential. The benefits bestowed by the privileged few accrued to all, improving the range of services and the level of care available to the community at large. |
