Description
Summary:Physical metallurgy of titanium alloys develops predominantly in the direction of obtaining a specified structure, a requisite and stable combination of physical, mechanical, and service properties. However, until now the problems connected with the mechanism and kinetics of the alpha - beta transformation, and formation and decomposition of non-equilibrium solid solutions, especially after plastic deformation, remain disputable.
