Description
Summary:According to Jorsch, he wanted not only to protest the treatment he had received but also to start a conversation about workplace issues he and his coworkers faced. [...]their lawyers' major worry was that Bethany College administrators would argue that Jorsch, as faculty, was not a worker but rather a manager and therefore not covered by the NLRA. Bethany College is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is therefore a Christian institution. According to them, they had never heard a single word about faith-based responsibilities in Bethany's job postings, their interviews, or their contracts.
