The oxidation states of copper in Sb, Cu doped Ba sub(0.9)Sr sub(0.1)TiO sub(3) ceramics

The stability of copper oxidation states in sintering process and the dependence of Cu super(2+) concentration on copper content in the donor doped BaTiO sub(3) ceramics were studied. It was found that the Cu super(2+) concentration only increases with copper content. The Cu super(2+)/Cu super(2+) c...

Description
Summary:The stability of copper oxidation states in sintering process and the dependence of Cu super(2+) concentration on copper content in the donor doped BaTiO sub(3) ceramics were studied. It was found that the Cu super(2+) concentration only increases with copper content. The Cu super(2+)/Cu super(2+) concentration ratio did not change with increased holding time at the sintering temperature. The segregation rate increased with elastic strain energy of the lattice.
