Description
Summary:Studies were made of the stability of copper oxidation states in the sintering process and the dependence of Cu2+ concentration on the copper content of donor doped barium titanate ceramics. XPS spectra were obtained for 1.2 wt% Cu doped barium strontium titanate sintered at 1350 C with holding times of zero and 1 h. The change in the oxidation states of copper was examined by EPR spectroscopy at room temperature and 100 C. The dependence between the fraction of the cubic phase and the Cu concentration in the barium strontium titanate ceramics doped with 0, 0.02, and 0.64 wt% Cu was examined by XRD analysis. 25 refs.
