Summary: | The as-cast ternary material produces an equiaxed microstructure which is modified significantly through thermal annealing. The DSC measurements reveal a metastable transition in the 679-793 deg c temperature range. Kinetics analysis shows that the transition is thermally activated with an activation energy of 89 kJ/mole. XRD results reflect the structural changes of the material in its as-cast and annealed states. |
